Smartist Social Media worked with HR Revolution in 2022/23 to bring a fresh and creative flair to their content. HR Revolution were then nominated for 'Best social media presence' in the industry 'Breathe HR Awards' 2023.
Smartist was managing all aspects of marketing for Belvoir Estate Agents (Tunbridge Wells) from 2017-2022. They won Gold in the company Marketing Award against 170+ other branches. The awards announcement said this: ‘The judges decided to give this award to an office that makes good use of ALL the marketing tools on offer and has a team that puts enormous effort into thinking of new, creative and effective ways of advertising to build the brand in their area and enhance their online reputation.’
Lucy grew up in East Yorkshire near Hull with an engineer Dad and social worker Mum. She grew up in a small village with one shop where you could buy sweets for a penny. Blissful.
She studied Business (and drinking) in Leicester then embarked on a squiggly career:
* 20 years in IT as a Project Manager and Business Analyst, managing client relationships and delivery to a deadline.
* 10 years building a business to sell her own paintings. Learning social media and being creative with her marketing to generate sales.
Being a social media manager is Lucy's dream job and ties in all the skills above. Being creative, techie and organised is essential to the job but it's building strong client relationships she enjoys the most.
Lucy has a husband and two grown up children. They live in Tunbridge Wells having restored an Edwardian house over the last 3 years. It nearly broke them!
